Lady GaGa has become the first artist in Billboard history to have four number one pop songs from a debut album.
The star has now seen Just Dance, Poker Face, Love Game and Paparazzi (all from The Fame) top the Billboard Pop Songs Chart in the US.
Speaking to the MTV News team Stateside Lady G explained: “Obviously, I cried like a baby when they told me that that happened.
“It was even more exciting because my dad had just recovered from his surgery, so it was kind of like this amazing moment that I got to share.”
GaGa’s father recently had open heart surgery.
Continuing the outlandish star thanked her fans saying: “I just love my fans and they come before anything.
“Extraneous relationships, they come and go, but your fans — they love that part of you that not everyone can understand... I am my work. I am every breathing moment of my life.”
